Georgetown Central School Guidance Services

What is Guidance?

Guidance is a part of each child's curriculum at Georgetown Central School.  Through a variety of developmentally appropriate lessons, your child will learn skills in getting to know their school, making choices, getting to know themselves and others, participating in their community, learning about differences, communicating with others, establishing teamwork and  working out conflict, personal safety, career exploration and in making transitions.

During the 2016-2017 school year, Guidance and Health will continue to be merged into one curriculum in Pre K-6 classrooms.  Mrs. Thibodeau will be in your child's classroom between 20 minutes to 45 minutes, depending on the age of your child.  As we make these revisions to the curriculum, your input is welcome.  Please let Mrs. Thibodeau know if you would like to help in any way!

Mrs. Thibodeau works M, T, W and F.  Please contact her via phone (371-2160) or email dthibodeau@georgetown.k12.me.us
