The conference is organized jointly by Georgetown Economics department alumni and faculty, and aims to bring together recent Ph.Ds, faculty, and current graduate students as well as other researchers in the greater DC area.

The 2015 conference will include a special panel session to commemorate the memory of Dr. David Amdur, a graduate of the Georgetown Economics program. The session, titled The biggest challenges in open economy macro over the next 30 years,” will take place on May 28 and will feature presentations by Jonathan Heathcote, Olivier Jeanne, Paolo Pesenti, and Linda Tesar.
