4-h from home
In addition to club meetings, New Jersey 4-H from Home offers great youth programming open to ALL youth!
During each interactive webinar, youth will have the opportunity to participate in interactive hands-on activities, where they will learn about healthy living, science, technology, service, the arts and more! Each interactive webinar will focus on a different topic which in most cases will be an introduction to some of our state-wide longer-term programs. Youth do not need to be 4‑H members to participate.
Registration is required and space is limited. Go to the NJ 4-H from Home website for the most up-to-date 4-H from Home offerings at https://nj4h.rutgers.edu/4h-from-home/ and click on session/s you are interested in participating in...See you online!
4-h enrollment is open!
Every youth who enrolls in a Gloucester County 4-H club will receive a Welcome 'Swag Bag' with their 4-H membership card! Special note of thanks to our Board of County Commissioners for their ongoing support of the 4-H Youth Development Program.

2019‐2020 4‐H year certainly came with unique challenges! Whether our members were learning about animal science, cooking, sewing, science and engineering, or anything in between – they stayed positive and worked on mastering their projects while gaining leadership and life skills. Many found creative and new ways to demonstrate how much they cared about 4-H and the community while planning and carrying out their projects. This does not happen without the dedication of members, parents and adult volunteers. Thank you ALL.
While we are getting set to kickoff the new 2020-21 4-H year in early October, through the hard work and efforts of 4-H volunteers Kathy Daws-Lawrence and Kathleen Lawrence - the memories submitted by families and clubs have been compiled in a 2019-20 Gloucester County 4-H Yearbook for everyone to look through and enjoy!
As the NJ 4-H from Home initiative continues, we hope you will consider capturing the benefits and remembering the good times and positive impacts this extra time at home has had for you by journaling. It is always great to capture your own perspective, and hope that the writing prompts in the below journal are helpful with that. We encourage you to write (or type) about your feelings and experiences. Stay safe and keep smiling!
