4-H Summer Enrichment Camps

The Gloucester County 4-H Youth Development Program offers several week-long Summer Enrichment day camps for children entering grades one through four. The camp is held at locations listed in the information for each camp below. Campers are supervised by RCE 4-H staff members and trained volunteer counselors. Campers are exposed to different 4-H project areas in a fun and positive way. The week culminates in a field trip! At the 4-H Summer Enrichment Camp, children participate daily in activities that include science & nature projects, environmental awareness projects, and arts & crafts. . History Camp-History Through the Garden
At The Whitall Garden, Red Bank Battlefield Park
Explore colonial Gloucester County with the Whitall Family and discover how the American Revolution touched their lives. Campers experience the 18th Century through hand-on activities, such as working in the garden planting, weeding and harvesting with certified Gloucester County gardeners.

A one-of-a kind experience for youngsters, aged 8-12,  with daily activities, stories, games, hearth cooking, crafts and lore steeped in the history of the Whitall Family. Bring a lunch.

New Jersey 4-H Healthy Living Retreat, Registration Packet - October 13-15, 2017

Hello Everyone -- We are excited to share with you materials for our upcoming Healthy Living Retreat at the L.G. Cook 4-H Camp this October for youth in grades 7-10. Join us at beautiful 4-H Camp as we explore ways to live a healthy lifestyle. Youth will participate in hands-on healthy living activities, learn in various workshops, spend time outdoors, and get a chance to speak with healthy living professionals. Besides all that fun learning youth will have an amazing 4-H camp experience including hiking, archery, and s'mores! (healthy s'mores of course). The retreat begins October 13th Friday evening and ends at 11AM October 15th Sunday morning.
