retro The retro graphics make a return.

galaxy Vipers actually help out once in a while - this one's docking after dealing with a pirate.

shuttle I'm waiting for the inevitable "I prefer the old version" complaints.
menu The menu is simpler now. What you can't use isn't shown and the selection skips any gaps.
a strange ship What a strange ship. One of many new designs introduced in Elite A.
sun View the details of 28 different ships.
docking bay This version has most of the 8-bit Elite features that were missing from TNK. The docking bay and beachball planets are visible additions. Invisible additions include the C64/NES kill ratings and an altered legal system.
