New Jersey is one big state very close to New York. The Manhattan skyline can be seen best from the Hudson river which divides both the states. There are many small county's within the state.
Jersey city is in Hudson county and the second largest city which is growing very fast as people are moving to this city because of the high cost of living in New York. The recent developments to the city is in big scale including condominiums and malls . Many financial corporations including Goldman Sachs, Chase Manhattan Bank, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch have relocated from New York City to Jersey City or expanded their offices in Jersey City. Jersey City is a city of neighborhoods, each with a different aesthetic and architectural style.
Hoboken is another city in the Hudson County which is close to Jersey city.It is the origination/destination point for several modes of transportation and an important hub within the NY/NJ metropolitan region's public transit system.
Newark is the largest city in New Jersey and is the home of Newark Liberty International Airport. Newark is a hub of air, road, rail and ship traffic. Newark Penn Station is a major train station for the city, connecting PATH system with New Jersey Transit rail lines and Amtrak service to Philadelphia and Washington D.C.
