I do quantitative research in educational assessment and the beliefs of teachers and students about assessment.

A major focus of my work has been on Teacher and Student Conceptions of Assessment. I generally use survey studies analysed with confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling to validate hypotheses and generate new ideas about the impact of assessment on these 2 key stakeholders.

My work is cross-cultural with research in multiple countries and languages.
