The Year in Review

War of the Worlds updates the time line of the source material to the (then) present day, something that most interpretations since have also done. It featured some very impressive special effects too. Peter Pan once again demonstrated that Disney wore the animating crown and Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom went on to become a staple part of every school's music curriculum for about 30 years.

My Top Picks

  1. The War of the Worlds
