Spring Ice Dance Exhibition

Put on your dancing skates and join GNFSA for the Spring Ice Dance Exhibition. This is an opportunity for all skaters to perform pattern and free dances for an exhibition. The event will be live streamed due to the Covid regulations of no spectators. The Spring Ice Dance Exhibition will be a great experience for skaters wishing to develop their ice dance skills and prepare to go through provincials, inter-provincials, and eventually nationals in the future.

DATE: Sunday 19 September 2021

TIME: 17:00 - 19:00

PLACE: The Grove Ice rink

EVENT GUIDELINES:

This event is open to all skaters from all provinces with all levels of skill welcome to perform as individuals and groups (groups are limited to 4 people per group with no direct contract/touching due to Covid Protocols). Please read out T's&C's for this private event

EXCITING DEVELOPMENTS!

As Covid restrictions related to sporting activities do not allow spectators to be present, we do wish to involve the whole family in the event. We are therefore going to stream the event LIVE so that all interested persons, parents, siblings, grandparents, etc, can watch the event live and in safety as part of the sports Covid Plan as accepted by the Minister of Sport.

  • As part of your entry fee, you will receive a code that allows you to watch the event on a mobile device as it is streamed LIVE to you.

  • We know how important it is to throw presents on the ice for our skaters to show our appreciation, but this is unfortunately not practical for the health and safety of our flower girls and athletes. No flower girls will be present, but we do provide a service where gifts will be given to skaters after they get off the ice.

    • People can buy goodie bags from the GNFSA table in from of the rink outside. The goodies bags will be given to a committee member who will present the gift to the skater after their program.
