Global Entrepreneurship Week 2010 is a celebration of the innovation, creativity and inspiration of young people from around the world.

More than 50% of college entrepreneurs are enrolled in non-business majors?
 
Many of our students have the potential to innovate a new product, lead a non-profit or start a small business.  In any industry...at any time!
 
And that's why we need your help to find and support entrepreneurship energy on campus!

You could say it's 'Blind Side' meets 'American Idol'.  Nominated for VH1 awards, this moving NFTE video tells the engaging stories of disadvantaged high school students competing for the $10,000 top prize in a national entrepreneurship competition.  Featured products include fashion, sports, cosmetics, technology, music, food, videos, pet food and more!
 
Faculty is encouraged to bring any class that starts between 8:00AM and 2:00PM on Monday (11/15) and Tuesday (11/16) to show times at the Gateway Center Davis Auditorium.  FREE!  Seating is limited, please contact Frank Locatell, Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies, with class reservations at Frank.Locatell@sunywcc.edu, x5615.
 
 
Speed Networking
Anyone can participate!  This fast-paced, elevator pitch competition is conducted by the Entrepreneurship and Networking Club.  Prizes available to early participants.

Young Entrepreneurs Forum
Hear the secrets of small business success from entrepreneurs who are graduates of the Professional Development Center's Academy of Excellence small business training program, which is supported by the Business Council of Westchester.  Visit with Cathy Pinsky (Pinsky Studios), John Durante (Durante Rentals) and Charlie Brown (C. W. Brown Inc.).
