Global warming hits Widdington Village.
Lost Dog Appeal
I know most of you are dog lovers and will help us.
Our neighbour has lost her Chihuahua and is desperate to find him.
Yesterday, she was sitting on the couch watching TV. She called out for her puppy with no response, and the back door was open.
She has been putting up signs everywhere.
If you see this dog, please let me know and I will notify her.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Percy the Widdington Peacock
Many of the village folk are getting a little concerned as they have not seen our local village pet peacock “Percy”
Percy, has not been seen on the streets of Widdington since August 2007.
I must admit I have not seen him down the lower end of Widdington by the green since 2006.
Some say he went back to the wild life park
some say Mr. Fox invited him to dinner
Please let me know if you see him
At the wildlife park
Percy is Sighted
Percy is alive and well and was photographed
tonight in the garden of
The Malt House,
I would like to thank William & Katherine,
For this breaking news and great Photos
Thanks again to our roving reporters
William & Katherine
Dateline: 11 November 2007
Saturday night witnessed a streaker in our local pub. There are not many reports available, apart from one regular who was there and said it was obviously 'cold out'.
