Garrison Gerard | Composer

I am an active composer currently attending the University of North Texas in Denton pursing a Doctorate in Music Composition

I am passionate about composition, particularly about using composition to explore environmental issues. I write for a variety of ensembles including chamber ensembles, wind band, and orchestra, as well as for solo instruments, and electronics. Spectralism and eclecticism are two styles that inspire me in my compositional work.

On this website you will find my compositions (including accompanying recordings and scores) along with information about myself and my projects.

In addition to composing, I am active as a conductor, recording engineer, music engraver, and performer. I am always excited to work with other musicians and artsits on colloborative and intermedia projects. Please feel free to contact me if you have a project you would like to work on, or if you would like to perform any of my works.
