Gabriel Garcia is a PhD student in the Communication systems and
Information theory research group at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, under the supervision of Prof. Henk Wymeersch and Prof. Erik G. Ström. He focuses his research on cooperative and robust RF localization, wireless sensor networks, GNSS, and sensor fusion. Gabriel participates in the COOPNET, an ERC Starting Grant project on cooperative networks, with the aim of developing and analyzing new methods on cooperative positioning, navigation, and timekeeping.

He received his Licentiate Degree, and M.Sc. in Communication Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in 2013 and 2010, respectively. Prior to the master studies at Chalmers and various professional experience, Gabriel obtained his B.Sc. in Electronics and Communications from Tecnologico de Monterrey, Campus Queretaro, Mexico.
