General Information

The conference GAGTA will be held from July 3rd through July 7th 2017 at the Bizkaia Aretoa, in Bilbao (Basque Country) and the yGAGTA, aimed at young researchers, will be held from June 26th through June 30th at the Leioa Campus of the UPV/EHU.

The conference will focus on a variety of topics in geometric and combinatorial group theory as well as on algorithmic and computational problems involving groups. More specifically, this includes combinatorial, asymptotic and probabilistic methods in group theory, group actions, hyperbolicity, growth, random walks, etc. 

The conference continues the series of GAGTA (Geometric and Asymptotic Group Theory with Applications) conferences. Previous GAGTA conferences include:
