Double peg

Designed for use in the accord viola (violin, cello) using fifth string to perform the chord in root position. The presence of the fifth string supposes the presence of the fifth peg and fifth hole in the peg box. It may not be desirable or even inadmissible for valuable instruments, especially those that are in use by musicians under the agreement on custody. Proposed way out of situation is to place two coaxial conical pegs in one hole of the peg box. The working part of pegs is made of metal with friction coating (see section “Metal peg”)
