Welcome to my webpage!

Currently, I am tenured Associate Professor at the Sociology Department of the University of Bucharest. My current main research stream is focused on the antecedents and consequences of collaboration networks within scientific transnational social fields. I employ both sociocentric and egocentric network research designs to investigate emergence and impact of co-authorship networks on prestige rankings in the world of science.
My research interests also cover: structural equation models and network analysis; multi-level network analysis (individual, organizations, institutions); transnational social network analysis (resource flows inside transnational fields of migration).

My most recent publications are:

Details on my publication record, research projects and academic courses are to be found on this web page. I keep an updated stream of news on my academic activities (see the NEWS column, on your right). Also, my most recent version of VITA is available here.
