I'm an editor, writer and public relations expert with 20+ years of experience writing feature articles, news, video scripts, web and email copy and more. These days,  I'm the magazine and strategic content editor for the University of Michigan College of Engineering. I coordinate a team of writers and graphic designers to produce a variety of products including The Michigan Engineer, the College's alumni magazine. I handle overall editorial direction, copy editing, proofing and look and feel. I also write much of the magazine's content.

I love translating highly technical ideas into language that connects with people.  And I love doing work that makes a difference in my community and the world. When I'm not working, I spend my time traveling, hiking, cooking, walking the dog and generally figuring stuff out.
