Some 17 months ago I bought a Chromebook.

Mine was made by Asus and came with a 3 year "at home" warranty. These devices run Chrome OS and not Windows. I am very pleased with mine. It boots up in seconds and automatically virus checks and updates. So far everything I could do with a Windows PC I can do better and faster on my Chromebook. I am very impressed. Some of the apps from the Play Store are accessible as Linux apps, although I have never used these yet.
