Shimin Gong
A short bio: Dr. Shimin Gong is an Assistant Professor in Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his PhD degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University in 2014 and Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2008. He was a visiting scholar at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011 and the University of Waterloo in 2012. His research interests are in the area of energy harvesting, relaying network, and resource allocation in wireless communications, with a special focus on uncertainty modeling and robust optimization. He is a member of IEEE.
