Benefits of Infrared Sauna
This type of sauna is more comfortable and more healing than saunas that heat the air, which irritates the eyes, brain, and lungs. Infrared rays penetrate inside the body at least 1 ½ inches, warming the body more deeply, inducing more perspiration, and diverting blood flow to the surface of the body. This diversion of blood improves cardiovascular functioning. Perspiring cleanses the body of toxins. Both these factors strengthen the immune system and increase resistance to systemic infection.
