Adoption fees for our animals

At Furry Friends, we have to charge a minimum adoption fee for any animal that leaves our care. Before an animal can leave us, most of them need some sort of veterinary treatment such as vaccinations, neutering or worming. If we did not ask for a minimum fee, we would not be able to carry on financially. We do not make any profit on any of the animals - all money goes straight back on the animals in the form of vet and food bills.

The minimum adoption fees are as follows;

  • Dogs - Minimum donation of £150. The dog will be neutered (unless it cannot be for medical reasons as advised by our vet), microchipped, wormed, flea treated and at least first vaccinated.
  • Cats - Minimum donation of £40. The cat will be neutered (unless it cannot be for medical reasons as advised by our vet), microchipped, wormed, flea treated and at least first vaccinated.
  • Rabbits - Minimum donation of £40. The rabbit will be neutered, wormed and vaccinated.
  • Ferrets - Minimum donation of £25. The ferret will be neutered.
  •  Rodents - Adoption fee of whatever you can afford.
