Furong Huang

My research interests include machine learning, high-dimensional statistics and distributed algorithms.

I enjoy both the theoretical analysis and practical implementation of spectral methods for latent variable graphical models.

Applications include text and image mining, commonality detection in social networks and cell type detection using brain images in neuroscience.
