Furong Huang

My research interests include machine learning, high-dimensional statistics and distributed algorithms.

I enjoy both the theoretical analysis and practical implementation of parallel spectral methods for latent variable graphical models.

Applications include natural language processing, image analysis, commonality detection and recommendation systems in social networks, and cell type detection using brain images in neuroscience.
