HackerX Event

posted Mar 23, 2017, 6:35 PM by Grant Lipelt

Last evening we attended a HackerX event, hosted by Target.  Stepped a bit outside our comfort zone and journeyed downtown to attend this shindig, partly to get more involved in technical networking, partly because the format seemed quite interesting.

The meeting was presented as a form of 'speed dating style' for introduction of developers to companies.  It certainly was an interesting experience; queuing up in a starting line, then proceeding through a series of 5 tables of companies in rapid succession, spending a timed limit of 5-minutes per table.  It certainly was an experienced, unique and high-energy.
