Families for Russian and Ukrainian Adoption (FRUA) is a national organization aiding those who have adopted or may adopt from countries of the former Soviet Union. National FRUA circulates a quarterly newsletter and offers a website with message boards and connections to all chapters.

The New England chapter is a regional group that holds parent workshops and  cultural, social and educational events for families. Membership is $35 per family per year and includes access to all the resources of national FRUA. FRUA New England was started in 1995 and is one of the oldest chapters. There are over 100 member families.
