JUST A REMINDER: Free Breakfast is served daily, Monday through Friday in the Frost cafeteria from 7:00 to 7:40am. Breakfast is indeed a very important meal. A good breakfast fuels you up and gets you ready for the day. In general, kids and teens who eat breakfast have more energy, do better in school, and eat healthier throughout the day. Without breakfast, people can get irritable, restless, and tired.

  • ELA & Writing Term 1 (Fall 2017) - Roberge Students will begin the year reading Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman.  They will maintain a character list, respond to essential questions and keep a journal.  They will also complete four units in spelling and vocabulary.

  • Math Skills Term I (Fall 2017) - Heggarty October and November students will build upon sixth grade reasoning of ratios and rates to formally define proportional relationships and the constant of proportionality.  Students will  explore multiple representations of proportional relationships by looking at tables, graphs, equations, and verbal descriptions.  Students extend their understanding about ratios and proportional relationships to compute unit rates for ratios and rates specified by rational numbers. The period beginning when people first appeared and ending when writing developed about 5,000 years ago is called prehistory. The period after writing developed is called history.   • Science Term I (Fall 2017) - DiFilippo In term one, seventh grade science will consist of three(3) major units using the KnowAtom Science Modules. These units are Discovering Matter, Earth in Space and Ice Age. Students will use the Scientific Method to investigate questions and the Engineering Design Process to solve problems.
