Simple Asparagus

Serves 4-8
1 lb. of fresh asparagus, rinshed
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 lemon, juiced
Salt and pepper
Fresh parmeasan cheese (optional)
Place asparagus in a baking dish. Drizzle with the olive oil and lemon juice. Add a dash of salt and black pepper.
Set the asparagus in an oven set to a low broil. Allow to broil for 5 minutes. Toss gently with tongs and sprinkle with parmeasan cheese. Return to oven for another 5-7 minutes or until the asparagus is tender yet still has a bit of crispness to it.
