Secret Ingredient Turkey Chili

 
Serves 4-6

1 lb. ground turkey
1/2 bell pepper, chopped 
1 medium onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic
1 can northern beans
1 can red beans
4 oz. can of diced green chilis
3 oz. tomato paste
8 oz. beer or water
1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1/4 tsp. cocoa powder
Pinch cinnamon
Salt and pepper, to taste 

In a large pan, brown turkey. Meanwhile, chop bell pepper, onion and garlic. When the turkey is browned, add in bell pepper, onion and garlic. Pour entire contents of both cans of beans into the pan along with green chilis, tomato paste, beer/water and spices. Season with salt and pepper to suit your tastes. Bring the mixture to a low boil, maintaining it for five minutes. Lower the heat to a simmer until you're ready to eat.
