Chocolate Covered Apples

Yields 4 apples

4 red delicious apples

1/2 c. white chocolate chips

1/2 c. dark chocolate chips

4 popsicle sticks


Optional toppings: coconut, crushed oreos, slivered almonds, etc.

Press a popsicle stick down into each apple. In a microwave-safe bowl, place white chocolate chips. Melt in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds to avoid scorching. Repeat for dark chocolate chips. 

Spoon one of the melted chocolates into a pastry bag with a fine tip. Drizzle chocolate all around the apple. Sprinkle with one of the toppings (optional). Drizzle the other chocolate over the topping.
