4 honeycrisp apples, sliced
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 yellow cake mix
1 stick salted butter
In a large pot over medium heat, cook sliced apples with sugar, water and cinnamon until apples are tender; stirring often.
Pour cooked apples into a 9x13" baking dish. Spread dry cake mix over the top of apples. Slice butter into 12 pats and arrange on the top of the cake mix.
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. Enjoy!
