14 Water Tank
Water for house use was obtained by storing rain water from the roof collected in corrugated iron water tanks. Originally the tanks were mounted on the roof of each bathroom, with a later tank being installed on the tank stand.
Unfortunately, due to their method of construction, none of the original tanks survived in good enough condition to be restored.
The water tank and the wooden platform on which it stands are replicas, built by local tradesmen.
The water stored in this tank is used by the Friends of Williams House members to water the garden beds in the grounds.
