4 & 5 Rose Bed & Front Lawn

The rose bed features many varieties of rose. Friends of Williams House members use donated plants to maintain this garden. as such the roses planted are modern varieties. However, we would like to look at planting heritage varieties if they become available.

The front lawn today is used for gala days and entertainment purposes by the Library and the Friends of Williams House. In the past, the front lawn was probably used for family meals and garden parties. When the house was built the lawn would have offered fine views of the beach and the bay beyond.
