The Friends of Upminster Park have now been given Official Friends Status by L.B.H We meet on the last Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm Trinity Church, Gaynes road entrance. Our objective is to ensure, in liaison with Havering Council, that the park is maintained and improved to a high standard to the benefit of all residents. You may have noticed improvements that have already been made in the park with the help of the friends group, including: refurbishment of the tennis courts and children's play area, path lighting and the planting of lavender and other flower and shrub beds, ball court and outdoor gym. All these improvements have made the park a safer more enjoyable place to be. We would welcome participation by any local residents who use the park, whether to relax in, to play tennis or football, or any other leisure pastime, even if just passing by the park when shopping. So, do you have any opinions about the park, how it should look, etc.? What do you want from the park? It is YOUR park and we would value your opinions and ideas. So why not come along and join us? It is free to join there are no fees
