Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup

Each spring after the very busy and congested Victoria Day Weekend a group of volunteers clean sections of the beach and dunes. This yearly two hour commitment ensures that any garbage left from the crowds is removed maintaining our natural beach dune environment. Once again, our spring cleanup will be included in the results of the nation wide effort to clean all of our shorelines.  We will post the date on our site and results will reflect our regular 'DoptaDune calculations as well. This will be coordinated through the Lake Huron Coastal Centre. If you are interested, please email John Strachan at pinegrovepark@gmail.com.

'DOPT A DUNE

Every year many people commit to cleaning a section of the dunes. One hour a week on a beautiful summer's day makes a significant difference in the cleanliness of our beach-dune ecosystem.
