Click the link below to view the many trails that have been recorded via GPS using the EveryTrail app (available at no charge on your iPhone or Android smart device).  The link will display a list of trails which you can click to view more detail such as a map of the trail, photos along the path, and a narrative describing what you might expect.

You can find the app in your device's App Store.  Some of the trails are official trails while others offer optional, off trail routes to unique features on the refuge.  Download the app today and search for CSNWR to choose the trail you wish to hike.  Once loaded on your smart device you can follow your position as you progress.

If you do not have a smart device, you can always print the information and give your orienteering skills a test.   Happy hiking!

As you hike and enjoy the refuge, be sure to practice the rule "leave only footprints and take only pictures".  Specifically, visitors may not leave behind trail markers of any type and may not introduce implements or structures or any type no matter how helpful you feel they may be to other hikers.  Feel free to forward suggestions for such to the Carolina Sandhills Wildlife Refuge officials for consideration at
