Stockton Heath Seniors (Men) Bowling Club

Based at the refurbished pavilion on Alexandra Park, Stockton Heath, Warrington, was formed in 1940 and is for male seniors aged 60 and over with an interest in crown green bowling. They play on the parks two bowling greens that are maintained by Warrington Borough Council.

Currently the club has 75 members ranging in age from 60 to 90 and offers two forms of membership.

Full Membership (£30) - for players who wish to play on one of the three league teams of 12 players that play in the Warrington and District Seniors Bowling League that play on a Monday afternoon as well as taking part in the clubs social bowling activities. The membership fee includes the league fees and parks ticket 

Social Membership (£15) - For players who want to take part in our weekly bowling competitions and other social activities. New members who are new to bowling find this a good starting point to learn the fundamentals of bowling in a friendly environment

During the year members are encouraged to take part in as many or as few of the following activities as they wish

Summer Months
League Bowling, Weekly social competition, at least 3 Away days (social bowling competitions + Lunch) at venues across Cheshire

Winter Months
Indoor Long Mat bowling league at the Birchwood Sports Centre, Winter league bowling on the artificial green's at Bank park, Warrington, Two away days at Prestatyn Indoor Bowling Centre with Lunch (and coach Travel), Dominoes in the Pavilion Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, Christmas Lunch
