Do I need to be Quaker to attend FMC?

FMC welcomes all, both non-Quakers and Quakers.

Am I musically advanced enough to attend FMC?

FMC is open to campers of all musical levels.  We ask that prospective campers have had lessons for at least one year on their chosen instrument, or that they have participated in a school orchestra, band or choral program for at least one year.

Can FMC accommodate campers with special diets?

Vegetarian and vegan options are available at every meal.  We are able to make limited accommodations for gluten-free diets (please contact us for more information).  We are unable to accommodate more restricted diets.

Where is Friends Music Camp located? How do I get there?

Friends Music Camp is located at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. Earlham is just over the border from Ohio, south of I-70.

What should I bring?

Please see our recommended list of what to bring.  Please do NOT bring alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, or weapons to FMC.  Possession of these items results in immediate expulsion from camp.

What does it cost to attend FMC?

What's the schedule like?

During the week, campers attend lessons, sing in the chorus, play in large and small ensembles, act in musical theater, and take classes.. Evening activities include capture the flag, a dance, outside speakers, visits to the local pool, and other fun activities. Both students and staff perform at weekly recitals and on weekend concerts.
