Who are the Friends?

The Friends of the Georgia Museum of Natural History was formed to support the Georgia Museum of Natural History programs and public relations efforts.  

The Georgia Museum of Natural History holds collections of archaeological, biological, geological, and paleontological materials.   Taken together, they are the most comprehensive in Georgia.  These collections play an important role in the teaching mission of the University as well as in public service and outreach.

How can I join the Friends?

Anyone can be a member of the Friends.  All you need to do is fill out a membership form and submit it to the address at the bottom of the form with your membership fee.  Or if you wish you may join online using PayPal.

What do members of the Friends receive?

As a member of the Friends you will receive the newsletters and invitations to Museum and Friends events that occur through out the year.  The Friends typically schedule two trips, hold an annual meeting, and have one fund raising event each year.  Friends are receive invitations to Georgia Museum of Natural History events.

Why become a member?

To support the Georgia Museum of Natural History's programs, while enjoing fun and fellowship.
