posted Sep 17, 2011, 6:47 PM by Sally Schiller

Friday, October 28th from 6-9 PM.  The public is invited to enjoy the music of Red River Breeze, a bonfire, and refreshments on the lawn next to the Visitor's Center of Dunbar Cave State Natural Area while waiting for a night walk led by Ichabod Crane.  During the walk Ichabod Crane will regale the group with The Legend of Stingy Jack.  The walk will take you along the tiki torch lit lake up to the old dance floor area near the cave entrance where The Legend of the Headless Horseman will be dramatized.  The walk will continue along the gravel path where a surprise awaits and then back to the parking area.  A group of walkers will leave from the Visitor's Center approximately every 20 minutes.  $5/person.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Bring a flash light.  The evening is meant to be good family fun and not frightening.  All proceeds go to support Dunbar Cave State Natural Area and Clarksville Children's Theater.  Sponsored by The Friends of Dunbar Cave.
