Qi Gong

Qi (chi) is the life force, the connection between mind and body and the relationship between ourselves and nature.  Qi Gong translates as "breathing exercise" or "energy skill."  We can learn to use these breathing techniques to activate Qi to increase a sense of well being as well as to heal ourselves and develop a sense of personal empowerment.  

This five week class teaches the student the Peng Qi Guang Ding Fa (Lift Qi Up and Pour Qi Down) system of China's Zhi Neng Qi Gong.  These Qi Gong exercises are used to promote circulation, correct breathing, strengthen muscles, tendons ligaments and bones and helps to reduce stress and fatigue by rejuvenating the body and mind and promoting a sense of calm.
