Set-Up FPL Password
NOTE: Your initial/default password is the last four digits of your library card number.
How to set-up an online Freehold Public Library account on our Mandarin Card Catalog System (older cards; newer card passwords are set upon account opening).
This allows you to:
set a password on your account (you need to do this if you want to borrow ebooks)
see what's currently checked-out to your card
see a list of items you've checked-out
renew checked-out material (as long as it is not already overdue)
go to http://freehold.mlasolutions.com/m5/catalog/(S(024ch2pqwt12l1ifuqwowwcv))/default.aspx?installation=Default. You may also access this link by going to www.freeholdpubliclibrary.org, clicking on the “Books & More” tab, then clicking on the first item: “Click here to search our card catalog.”
click "sign in"
where it says "login name/barcode" enter your Freehold Public Library card number (barcode).
leave the "password" box empty
click "sign in"
click “my account”
on the left side, click "change login/password"
leave "login name/barcode" box empty
enter a password in the "password" and "confirm password" boxes
click "OK"
the system will take you back to the sign-in page. Re-enter your library card number/barcode, and new password.
Click "sign in"
From here you can check the status of your account (see what you have out, fines, etc.), check your borrowing history (going back to 2006), and renew any material that is not overdue or that someone else isn't waiting for.
NOTE: If you forget your password, you must contact the library to reset it (email help@freeholdpubliclibrary.org or call 732-462-5135).
