Welcome to the online home of FRC 2789: Team TEXplosion! FRC 2789 proudly represents Manor New Technology High School & Manor ISD, located just east of Austin, Texas.  FRC 2789 was started in 2009 & has competed in FIRST events in Texas, New Jersey, Maryland, Utah, & Missouri.

What is FIRST?
For Inspiration and Recognition of Science & Technology
  FIRST is a not-for-profit public charity that designs accessible, innovative programs that allow K-12 students to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math, while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills. 
FRC 2789: Team TEXplosion participates in is the FIRST Robotics Competition, which allows high school students to cooperate with experienced mentors to build a robot to complete a set task in 6 weeks. It is a worldwide competition that not only judges robot performance, but teams' business and marketing skills, community outreach, creativity, and website design (among others).
