a more thourough drill so it will take about 1/2 hour- it is so good for us to get
this practice so the kids are at least familiar if a disaster does happen.  This is a great opportunity to talk to your kids about what to do if they are at home or
out and about if a disaster does occur.  Click here for more AEA disaster info.

May 14- May 18, 2012

Huge thanks again for a fantastic Teacher Appreciation Celebration!
****
This week we will continue with our animals unit, exploring different
types of animal.  It is through the categorization of the animals we are teaching the key concept, FORM.  Form asks "what does it look like?" It is through our key concepts
that we aim for our students to create open-ended questions....
****
Our kids come to us already knowing a lot about animals!  Because of this working knowledge they have we are able to use that to our advantage.  Over the next 5 weeks we will talk about our learner profile "knowledgeable"...the kids will give examples of how they are knowledgeable about animals and be very proud to share with the others what it is they already know!!!
****
In math we will continue with measurement- see what you can measure around the house and compare things that are longer/shorter.  Use different tools to measure...paperclips, a fork etc.
****
This week Friends of AEA will be selling GALA tickets after school on Tuesday and and before school on Friday!  Get your tickets!!!  It is a super fun night!!
****
Preview for June:
As we start to see an end to our year together, we begin to think about what will
come next!  We will go and visit the 1st Grade classrooms in June, K-German classes will go to both of the First grade German classrooms and the English will visit the 2 English classrooms...This is super exciting for the kids, but could also create a bit
of nervousness...if this happens, please remind the kids that they will be learning great things next year and how they will always see us when they go to art class :-) They promise me that they will say hi when they pass by the room!!

Panoramic photo that we took last week did not turn out!  We will be doing a re-take

on May 29th...so please make sure your child comes to school that day if possible!

****

Please continue to monitor your child's handwriting!  At this point of the year ...the

kids start to get a bit antsy and I have noticed that their handwriting is

getting a bit messy!  Please pay special attention when they are doing homework

that they are using the sheet we send home each week to form the letters properly.

This will help in the future!!!  So let's make it count!

****

We will be working on our art projects for the Auction this week....we hope

you will be able to join us at this very fun event!!  Don't forget to get

your tickets and start working on your "big fat greek gala" costume!

You don't have to dress up but it sure is fun!!  Remember that if you purchase your

tickets you will get your child's photo taken and you can purchase this

at the gala!!  Cannot wait to see the kids sweet little faces!!

Over the past 6 weeks we have been talking about being an Inquirer as our

learner profile focus.  This is a bit more difficult for the kids to grasp...

Although kids ask lots of questions, we are still trying to refine them making them

meaningful. We will not be handing out certificates this unit but hope

that you will still encourage them to ask lots of questions!

****

Big thanks for all our snacks that got sent in last week- we are well

taken care of!!!  Thank you!!!

Have a great week!

April 23- April, 27, 2012

Only 2 more weeks for our Plants Unit...and we will bring it to a close by spending some time in our school gardens!  We will help care for the gardens and eventually plant in them as well!

We are talking about what our RESPONSIBILITY is as far as plant

go and the kids will LOVE it!

Don't forget that Wednesday is Open House here at school from

5-7pm and our Art Fair will be going on in the MPR during this

time as well!!  Come on over and see what your child has

April 16- April 20, 2012

WELCOME BACK!!!

Hopefully everyone had a GREAT spring break!  We only

have 10 weeks left of our school year together...I cannot believe

this!  The time is going to fly on by!

****

This week we are taking our field trip to the botanical

gardens in Balboa Park to check out all the different kinds

of plants.  If you volunteered to chaperone...keep your

eyes peeled for a detailed email of what to expect on Thursday.

**

Parents please remember to send your child with a sack lunch, comfy

shoes and lather them with sunscreen before school on Thursday!

****

In math we continue with 3D shapes and maps- challenge your child

to use the vocabulary to describe the 3D shapes they find around the house

and out in your community.  Have them draw treasure maps, or better

yet....you surprise them with a map and have them find a special treasure

you have hidden!  What fun!!!  Send in the map to share with the class

after you do it too!!!!  We would LOVE to see it!

****

Don't forget that next Wed. is our

"Open House"

and art show from

5-7pm

Classrooms will be open for you and your child to visit.  Stop by our rooms and see what has been going on lately...what we have been learning about and working on! This would also be a great chance to visit the first grade classrooms (we will visit them also....in June)

The art fair will be in the MPR.  Mrs. Heinzelmann will be showing artwork from all grades!  If you would like your child's artwork to be framed and displayed, you will need to return the RSVP slip.  This does not mean that you have to buy the frame!  This will only ensure that your child's work is on display- if you do not return the slip, your child's work will not be framed and

on display.  All artwork will be sent home at the end of the year!

This is just a great chance to earn some $$ for our art program and get

a frame for your child's masterpiece!!!

****

By the way...Radishes went home before vacation....if anyone has had luck

with them...we'd love to see the progress!!!

****

Don't forget to get your tickets for our annual GALA!

June 1st at 6pm!!!

If you are able to help our Auction committee please contact

them at auction@friendsofaea.org

They need your help!!!! shoot her an email and see what you can do...

any amount will make a difference!

March 12- March 16, 2012

So HAPPPPPYYYYYYY to see my little faces again!!!

This week is a busy one!

Monday we will be going to an assembly and Principal Vaughn will talk

about our "Water Walk" that we will take next Wednesday, March 21st.

Stay tuned for more info on that...

****

Wednesday, March 14th is our Rockin-run-athon!  Kindergartners will run/walk from 9.30-10am.  All children will participate, whether they turned in pledges or not.  We will NEED grown-up help if you can join us...You could

just report to the red playground at 9.10am if you are free!!!

Please make sure that you send your child with running shoes and a

water bottle that day!!

****

Friday March 16th we will be celebrating Einstein's birthday.  The kids are encouraged to dress up as Einstein OR come in their uniform with crazy hair. ONE or the other please, do not come dressed up as Einstein with crazy hair (other than trying to make yours look like his).

This is NOT a free dress day!

P. Vaughn will come around and judge our best dressed and they will be announced in a school assembly.  There is a "draw Einstein" competition that

your child can enter to win prizes per grade level.  These drawings can be in any form of art (painted, watercolor, crayon, charcoal, or oil pastel). Pictures can be turned in before Friday as well...

****

We are starting our unit on PLANTS and will be doing lots of fun things

including growing our own radishes and then selling them at our own AEA

farmers market at the end of our unit.

If anyone has seeds of any kind you would like to donate for us to

grow ...just send them on in!

To see what we will be learning about over the next 6 weeks check out

our Scope and Sequence!

****

Over the next 6 weeks we will be focusing on being an inquirer.  An inquirer has questions!!!! and we will reinforce curiosity!!!

I am an inquirer.  I am curious!!!  This is what we want the kids

to focus on...so if you can reinforce these attributes at home- we will

make double time!

****

Conferences!!!

During the week of March 26- March 31 we will be having "student led" conferences.  These are not mandatory and you can sign up at your leisure

if you are interested in doing so.  Those interested will get a 1/2 hour time slot to visit both classrooms. During this time your child will lead you around

the classroom and show you his/her work and things in the classrooms

that they do/like, have learned about etc.

This is not a formal time to talk to the teachers

and is about the child showing what they have learned.  We will however

contact you to set up a time to meet with the teachers if we feel

it to be necessary.

****

Snacks are always a hit with the kids and we are running low on the

fresh goods like carrots, baby apples, cuties, or cheese!

Thanks so much!!!!

****

Have a great week!

March 5- March 9, 2012

Here we are already in March -- and it has indeed "blown in like a lion" with a few last (we hope!) cold, rainy days -- keep sending the kids with their clothing layers and remember, even undershirts and tights should be AEA colors, red or white on top and blue on the bottom, sweaters also navy blue though winter coats of any type are fine. Make sure names are in Everything -- hats, gloves, etc. -- the kids are trying hard to be responsible but keeping track can be a challenge for us all!

This week we'll wrap up our IB unit, "We Speak Without Words" with some special project rotations. Each class will spend time with each of the four Kinder teachers on a special project -- sculpture-making with Mr. H, puppet-making with Frau Heffley, creating a dance with Ms. Jones and making a silent movie ("A Day in the Life...") with Frau Friedmann. A few volunteers on M, T, Th and Fr to help during 12:30--1:30 with our movie making would be really helpful! Let Frau F know if you can make it via email: bfriedmann@aeacs.org.

In  math we'll begin putting things in order -- you can support this at home when reading stories, watching movies, or talking about the day. What happens first, what comes next, what comes last? We'll also continue with what is a half and what is double (how can we share & make it fair?), and with basic addition and subtraction.

We could still use more fresh, healthy snacks (the kids looove Cutie oranges and finger carrots are always great too) and we are running out of paper towel rolls. All donations greatly appreciated and they count toward your volunteer hours -- every $5 donation is like giving us an hour of your time!

Last but not least, Frau Holt will be back next week. Frau Friedmann is sad to say goodbye to your wonderful children, but grateful for the terrific learning we've all done together since January! And she'll be around campus, so be sure to say hi when you see her volunteering or subbing other classes.

Happy March & keep an eye out for the daffodils!

_____________________________________________________________

Feb. 27- March 2, 2012

As February winds up and March begins, our Kinder classes will begin working on making their own

"silent movies" as one of the culminating projects for our IB Unit "We Speak Without Words".

In Math we continue to review counting by 5's and working with money as well as adding and subtracting with 10's. And we will tie math together with German & our Anlauthaus rap when we write our own "Einkaufsliste".

We'll also view a special performance of "Peter and the Wolf" on Thursday morning, March 1.

Fresh snacks are getting low; we could use more small bags of carrots & apples, or bags of fresh mandarin oranges -- the kids really love those!

And as ever, we welcome your help in the classroom. Wednesday mornings first thing we work on Yearbooks and it's always  nice to have a few extra hands to help with that.

Happy New Month!

Feb. 21- Feb. 24, 2012

Get ready for another fast four-day week in Kindergarten! Can you believe we've passed the 100 day mark?

Wow! If you'd like one of the counting mats used to make our 100 Day Cheerio necklaces, just write a note in your child's planner & we'll send one home.

Celebrate Music Month continues and on Tuesday we'll be hearing Philip's parents perform!

In Math we'll focus on subtracting and adding from 10, plus introduce "doubling". We'll also work on addition and subtraction from groups of 10. For example, 26-10=16. Keep practicing numbers up to 100.

Also keep working on Rap #2 and math with money -- adding & exchanging pennies, nickels, and dimes.

Have a great week!

Feb. 13- Feb. 17, 2012

Time is flying and we are certainly having fun! Feb. 6-10th was a busy week in KB & KD and this coming
week promises even more fun as we learn together.

A highlight was Judah the Mime who told us some really funny stories without words and taught us how
to never, ever be bored again because we can all use our IMAGINATIONS: we all now have an imaginary
tennis ball in our imaginary pockets for endless “I’m not bored!’ fun. Ask your child to show you what
Judah did and to share her/his imaginary tennis/soccer/football etc. with you in a family pantomime.

We are continuing to collect money and school supplies to send to Phakamile Primary School in South
Africa, where the children have very few books/supplies and many only eat one meal a day, the meal
of plain porridge that they get at school. Each class is sending a small box and Principal Vaughn has
asked that all students who can bring in $2 toward postage plus a few school supplies – a box of pencils,
crayons, scissors, and the like. Since Frau Friedmann lived in South Africa for six years, our classes have
been able to see some crafts and photos as well. Deadline for donations is Thursday, Feb. 16th.

The week holds many IB-related activities as well:
Monday 13th: Sol e Mar Brazilian music assembly and Art with Mrs. Heinzelmann Art (make-up since NO
SCHOOL Frid
ay)
Tuesday 14th: Music with Frau Claudia, then off to the Timkin Art Museum 9:30—12:30. We will
exchange valentines in the afternoon. This is OPTIONAL – if your child wishes to give out valentines, he
or she must bring enough for everyone (20 ) – it’s better if the cards are simply signed with your child’s
name & given out at random. Please keep sweets to a minimum in keeping with our healthy eating
policy. (And just a card is absolutely okay too!)
Friday 17th and Monday 20th: NO SCHOOL! Enjoy the four-day weekend!

Feb.6- Feb.10, 2012

We continue this week with our IB Unit, "How We Express Ourselves" with lots of fun activities without words. Building on last week's Charades game (which both classes played), both classes will be acting out "silent movies" in small groups. Try playing charades at home and ask your child about our new classroom books about various artists (such as Monet and Van Gogh), and about learning to play instruments with Frau Claudia "leading the band" with hand motions only.

We hope to take a campus Walkabout on Thursday with KD (12:30--1:30pm) and Friday with KB (12:30--1:30pm). Parents welcome to join us and help sheperd the students around AEA to examine & discuss the various artwork and what it expresses without words. Please email Frau Friedmann (bfriedmann@aeacs.org) if you plan to join us.

In math we continue to work with exchanging money (how many pennies in a nickel or dime, etc.) and how things can be grouped together by attribute (color, size, shape). Examine items at home & have your child help you decide various ways they can be grouped & counted. Also, children loooove experimenting with real money. If you save coins at home, your child will probably enjoy stacking, counting and manipulating them. If you can allow your child to make a small purchase at the store and count the change, they will really get excited about learning more about math -- this week the nickel is our star coin. And of course students will need help with the bigger numbers -- we are working on counting by 5's and keeping track on charts with talley marks.

Our star student & line leaders this week: Riley in KB and Nina in KD.

Be sure to keep collecting and turning in those boxtops -- each one represents a dime for our school & that adds up fast!

January 30- Feb. 3, 2012

Get ready for another exciting week in Kinder! We'll be starting our next IB Unit, "How We Express Ourselves" (Wie Wir Uns Ausdrucken). We'll be discussing how we know how people feel, and also how we can communicate without words. We'll watch "Judah the Mime" at a fun assembly on Thursday! Try using only gestures to communicate with your child at home, both for expressing feelings and other communication -- and encourage them to try also. Have fun!

Our IB learner trait for this unit is "being a risk taker" -- encourage your child to try something new each day and take a little chance, whether it's a bite of new food or walking on a balance beam...try something new yourself & that will inspire your child, and you!

We'll also continue to work with our new Rap, learning to sound out and write new words with Frau Bohl, who will be who will be helping out in our class until Frau Holt comes back.  Frau Bohl is a teacher from Germany who recently moved to San Diego and who is volunteering at AEA. Keep listening to Frau Claudia's CD!

We said farewell to Frau Schauerte, our intern, last Friday, and we'll say hello to our new intern from Germany this week.

Math focuses on making groups based on attributes, for example by color or shape, and by color and shape. We continue to learn telling time and counting coins -- keep practicing at home; it helps a lot!

We'll have Art on Friday this week. And last but not least, Frau Leitel will teach our class on Monday, Thursday, and Friday while Frau Friedmann attends to family business out of town.

*******************************************************************************

January 23- January 27, 2012

This is our final week of our IB unit "Times Long Ago," and it promises to be an exciting one!

But before the details....VERY IMPORTANT: A pink form is coming home with your child today -- this is the form that you MUST return by JAN. 27th if your child is coming back to AEA for first grade in the fall. No form, no spot!! So make sure to follow up if you don't get a form -- the office has more.

Thursday morning we get on the bus for our trip to Old Town -- if you are signed up to chaperone, please arrive at our classroom at about 9:15 AM. We board the bus at 9:30am so we will be getting organized and walking down to the A Street gate around 9:15, leaving directly from recess.

We will continue to learn about how children played in the old days, with special class rotations on M, T, and F: each class will have a chance to do finger knitting in Frau Friedmann's class, led by 1st grade parent Kathi Blocher, listen to old time music with Mr. H, play old time indoor games with  Frau Heffley, and old time outdoor games with Ms. Jones.

We will need volunteers for our Finger knitting!!!

Please write me a note in your child's planner if you can help out on either Monday, Tuesday or Friday from 12.30- 1.30

or let me know at drop off or pick up-- thank you!!!

Friday is the last day we will have our wonderful intern, Frau Schauerte, as she will be returning to Germany. We will miss her! We will be presenting her with a shopping bag from Grants, a card signed by all the kids and a Grant's gift card on Tuesday so she can enjoy a lunch on us during her last week here.

We also started our new Rap this week -- so please begin practicing & listening to it with your child. This one begins "L wie Löwe, M wie Mund...."

Last but not least, Frau Leitel will be subbing for our class on Friday because Frau Friedmann has a family commitment out of town.

Happy Weekend -- see you Monday!

January 17- January 20, 2012

This week we will start learning about toys & games from long ago.

Both classes will do their January writing assessment & also their Anlauthaus assessment.

We will finish math chapter 4 (they can review time & money at home) & have our assessment on Thursday.

Please remember Wed. is breakfast club if you would like to volunteer

& also at 5:30pm in the MPR the movie "American Teacher" -- the movie is free but you need to register if you are going

to come and watch it.  There is childcare available!

Have a nice week.

We are in our second week of our

"Times long ago" unit and will be comparing times of long ago to today!

We would LOVE to have grandparents come in and share some stories with

us...if you are interested...please email either Ms. Jones or myself.

Big thanks to Sophia's grandpa for coming in and talking about what it was like when he was little!

Last week we were visited by Old Town's "History in a trunk"

This Friday....we will be celebrating "Nikolaus" please read this link if you are

not familiar with the German tradition.

You are welcome to join us on

Friday, December 9th from 8.30-9.30 in the MPR.

We have collected lots of goodies and the kids will each get a baggy from Nikolaus.  We will be using whatever is left over from the donations to fill our classroom advents calendar-

so please send in whatever it is you planned to....

****

This week we are starting a new behavior chart.  The kids will no longer

get a sticker in their planner each day.  They will each earn a color on our

color chart (blue=wow, green=good, yellow=oopsy, orange=oh no!, red=reflect!)

The kids will then color their day that color and explain to you what happened

if they landed on yellow, orange or red.

If it is more serious we will also write a note explaining what happened

so you can compare what they are telling you...  We have been talking

a lot about responsibility so this is a great chance for them to take

responsibility for their behavior by them explaining to you what happened.

If you have any questions, please ask either Ms. Jones or myself!

****

On Friday's when the pack of finished work comes home be sure to

look through it.... with your child and have them talk about what they

have been working on at school.  This is a great way for them to reflect!

Also, pay special attention to the math worksheets, to see where they are

possibly having trouble so you know what math assignments to focus

on for homework.

****

Don't forget we are meditating at school...use this tool at home too!

If you need any details or interested in tips we are using- please

ask us!

been working hard on reporting back to us how they have been caring.

This will take place first thing Friday morning 8.15am directly followed

by a guest speaker here to talk about her hobby!

****

Points to consider when doing homework:

We are practicing our names a lot!  Most all kids can benefit from extra practice in this area.  ***Handwriting*** Please support your

child at home by having them write their names starting with a capital and

then all lowercase letters please.  Also if using lined paper please

encourage them to use the entire space from TOP to bottom. (You will notice

that many kids start from the bottom and go up....this needs to be pointed out and shown TOP TO BOTTOM please).

We sing a song in English and German to remind them that

when we are writing...it is from "top to bottom and left to right"! ask them to sing it to you!

&

Please practice writing numbers at home, at least 1-10.

Remind them when writing that it is top to bottom :-)

****

Please note that on the homework menu there is an option for

bringing in a book (English column) and sharing/reading it with the class...

this is ONLY in the English week.

In the German week, we will do SHARING as our

"get up in front of the class"

option.  If your child DOES choose to do sharing...then please make sure you are also doing another option from the German column as well. Most kids

at this point are sharing in English...so I'd like them to also have another

option where they are practicing German.

German Songs at home....

I am wondering if there is anyone that is able to make cd copies for us?  I need 40 copies (20/class)

of Frau Claudia's songs that we will learn and practice over the year.  Having the songs on a cd that the kids can listen to all the time in the car is the best way for them to be reinforced!

I also need another cd copied for

each class that will teach the kids the sounds of the alphabet.

Please let me know if you can help in the burning process???

German Songs at home....

I am wondering if there is anyone that is able to make cd copies for us?  I need 40 copies (20/class)

of Frau Claudia's songs that we will learn and practice over the year.  I also need another cd copied for

each class that will teach the kids the sounds of the alphabet.  Please let me know if you can either donate

blank cd's and paper covers OR if you can burn a portion of the cd's that we need or maybe all???

REMINDER:

We will have PE every Monday- please make sure your child has comfy shoes on :-) and lots of sunscreen!

This Thursday is our first trip to the library.

Books will be checked out and should be sent back the following Thursday to either teacher.

CURRENT TB tests are required for volunteering in the classroom.  Make sure you turn in a copy of your valid TB test before your first visit to our classroom.  Stay tuned for dates that a nurse will be on campus and giving free TB tests :-)

Message from our Art teacher extraordinaire, Mrs. Heinzelmann:  Artsonia is a great site where the each of the students' artwork is downloaded and they can purchase merchandise with the artwork on the item, you know, mugs, mouse pads, t-shirts, tote bags etc.  The great thing is that it is also a fundraiser where a percentage of the sales comes right back to us!  Yay!  We can always use more art supplies! Woo hoo!  The site can even send out emails to whoever the student chooses, like grandparents, aunts and uncles, friends, etc., so they can purchase one of a kind items with the artwork of their favorite little artist.  Sounds great, right!
Sooooo, the reason I am sending this out to you all is that we need to recruit some room parents to help photograph and download your classes artwork.  Ideally, it would be great to get a parent for every 2 classes.  All it would require is that the parent be able to take the photos and download them to the website, making sure that the artwork is being assigned to the correct student.  It would entail about 1 hour every month, they would, of course, have to come into school to take the photos, but could download at home.  We are hoping to get this up and running as soon as possible, so that the parents could purchase some gifts for the holiday season.  I would like to get a list of parents willing to help so we can hold a small, quick, tutorial.  So, PLEASE, check with your parents, talk it up, and send me some names with contact info as soon as you can.  If you have a parent who is volunteering in the classroom, they might be a good place to start, since they are already here.  Just let Mr. H or Frau Friedmann know if you want to be the picture taker/uploader for the year for us!!  Thanks.

I am looking forward to seeing you and all your students very soon!  K-2 starts next week and 3-5 the following week.

Thanks so much,

Mary Shannon Heinzelmann

have a great week!

We have had a great first week of school and the kids are adapting very well....it seems as if we have already been here for months!  The students are doing such a great job with EVERYTHING!  I could not be happier!

Some Points to consider:

We will start our trips to the library next week the kids can keep their books until the following Thursday-

at home....it is the same day in both weeks!

***We have our room parents for both K-D and K-B!***

Thanks so much to Isabelle Senk and Nicole Toliver in K-D and Terri Ulrich and Nicole Toliver from K-B.

We are in Great hands and so value all the hard work they are about do for us this year!

Please know that these parents are going to help us in many ways and they are volunteering their TIME!  There may be times you will not believe you are getting another email from them (or from us for that matter :-)...please just think,

"wow, I cannot believe how much these mom's are helping our class!"

REMEMBER: Back to School Night is Sept 21 @ 5.00-7.00pm (preferably no kids please)

***

....and Please REMEMBER:

Kindergarten is very intense (remember we're talking about 4/5 year olds) with all these changes and even if your child might be used to the classroom setting even just the new student dynamics that are present in each class, at recess and lunch can prove to be exhausting!

Just remember...this is a big transition period and if they in a learning phase! We're always tired after we have learned something new and they are learning LOTS right now. They might be tired until Thanksgiving break, or longer or maybe shorter...but please remember this is normal.

The best way to support your child in this exciting part of their kindergarten year...is to remind them of how much they are learning right now and how all their hard work will pay off. How proud you are of them for making good choices and being a good student and friend. This year we will be talking about things such as commitment/follow through, patience and self control. These attributes will serve them well but could tucker our little students out because they are going to be practicing a lot this year!

It is also VERY important that they are getting enough sleep at night- so they can glide through the day. Bringing healthy snacks to school (such as fruits, veggies, cheese and yogurt) is equally important so they feed their body with energy. Please avoid snacks such as sweets (sugar cereal, carmel covered popcorn etc...and chips- at the beginning of the year the kids will eat everything in their lunchbox at our 9.00am recess! We will do our best to address making good food choices this month and your help would be greatly appreciated!

Have a great week!

...going forward...

please keep in mind...

the beginning of the school year is very hard for some kids. They might be exhausted or cranky at night even though they "like" going to school. The kids are already working hard while being reminded to follow directions, complete tasks, meet new friends and follow classroom rules. Depending on your child's experience at preschool things might be very different now.

Please avoid snacks such as sweets and chips- at the beginning of the year the kids will eat everything in their lunchbox at our 9.15am snack break! We will do our best to address making good food choices this month and your help would be greatly appreciated!

We are so excited to be with our classes and we want only the BEST!

Thanks for all your parental support!

After all we are now sharing custody!

Big thanks!!! to those who brought your supplies already.  IF you have NOT yet had a chance to go shopping, we really appreciate gift cards (Target, Staples, Lakeshore, Costco (for pictures we develop) or Michaels (for holiday crafts)).  Gift cards  allow us to get supplies at a later date and not have to find a place to store everything right now!

Thank you!!!

Have a great week!
