Our Story

In 1982 Don and Jennine Fletcher relocated to Newport News Virginia from Corning New York and opened a
Texaco gas station in the region they fell in love with when Don served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Soon after, the Fletcher's decided to open Fletcher's Auto Repair and hired a former employee from Corning
Michael Fraser. Over the years Michael was promoted to Manager, and in 2003 took ownership and changed
the name to Fraser's Auto Repair. Michael was the lead mechanic and proudly served thousands of customers, made
life long friends, and helped shape the companies fair, honest, and friendly practicies. In 2017 Michael
announced his retirement, and has handed the company over to his eldest son Nathan Fraser.

Nathan currently oversees the rebranded company Fraser's Automotive, and will carry the 34 years of dedication
to quality and honest repairs.
