I'm Ms. Renken and I'm starting my 25th year at Freeman Public

Schools. I currently teach American History, Facing History,

8th Grade Social Studies, Government and Psychology. During

the Spring I coach girls' track and I also serve on many committees including the Crisis Team and the School

Improvement Committee.

In my free time I enjoy running and lifting weights. I am

very passionate about Holocaust Education and Human

Rights issues. I enjoy reading to further my knowledge in

both of these areas.

I have two children. My daughter Kendall just graduated from the

University of Nebraska at Kearney and is the new life skills teacher

at Central City High School. My son Brannon is a sophomore at the

University of Nebraska at Kearney and is majoring in Information

Technology.
