Position: OSS/IT Engineer

Tasks:
  • 3rd level Incident Management for OSS EMS Systems in Data Transport
  • Engineering, customization and configuration of the OSS EMS Systems in Data Transport platforms
  • Customer Requirements Management
  • 3rd level Incident Management for OSS EMS Systems in Data Transport
  • Engineering, customization and configuration of the OSS EMS Systems in Data Transport platforms
  • Customer Requirements Management
  • Represent the company towards the customer for all operational and engineering topics
  • Collect and assess requirements (from super users, users, business owner of the application) and initiate RFQ to vendor when applicable
  • Establish contact with vendors; obtain application roadmaps; ask for the costs of eventual application extension(s) and customizations
  • Establish a realistic application evolution path based on requirements and vendor information
  • Participate on a coordination level in the development of custom modules for the application
  • Handle Change Requests (CR) and patch fixes (priority and ordering)
  • Plan, coordinate and accept application upgrades
  • Provide “Expert/Engineering knowledge”
  • Maintain Life Cycle Management for the applications in responsibility
  • Maintain solution design documents
  • Represent the company towards the customer for all operational and engineering topics
