Tiny Free Pantry 2017

Our Tiny Free Pantry was installed on Sunday, June 25th, 2017 at the sidewalk on Church Street behind our memorial garden, near the corner with Chestnut Street, facing the museum.  Thanks to United Way of Vance County for the generous grant that provided funding for the purchase of materials for building, installation, and initially stocking the pantry, and thanks to all the members of our congregation whose work made the installation possible.

A sign on the pantry says, “Take what you need. Leave what you can.”  If you’d like to donate items, feel free to drop by the pantry and replenish the supply at any time. If there isn’t room in the pantry for items you’d like to donate, you can drop them off in the vestibule of the sanctuary before or after 11 o'clock worship on Sundays or bring them to the church office between 10am and 1pm Monday through Thursday (entrance is on Young Street).
