Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day, 2014



Passport to Nature is a free program that encourages children of all ages to get outside and explore the beautiful nature centers around the Fox Valley.

  • Visit any of the sites listed below and receive a free Passport to Nature keychain starter kit which includes all the materials needed to make your very own Passport to Nature keychain.
  • Collect a different keychain tag at each Passport site by exploring on your own, taking part in a suggested activity or participating in a program.
  • After at least three sites have been visited, show off your keychain to earn a Passport to Nature pin.

Find great nature books for kids at any other the participating Fox Valley libraries and join the Summer Reading Program

SHRINKY DINKS are returning for the 2014 program!
Add your observations to the citizen science project at each site and collect the site tag when you do!
Make something to remember your adventures in nature.  Receive a Passport to Nature keychain starter kit when you visit your first site, then collect animal tags for your keychain at each site that you visit during the program.  Take your tags home to color and bake creating your own Passport to Nature Keychain!
Don't forget to ask for a special "Science"!"
tag at your local library to add to your collection!
