AUDITIONS!!!

Auditions for Peter Pan and Wendy will be Monday, February 26, and Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Audition Forms and Tech Crew Applications are due no later than 3:35 pm on February 26, 2018.  

If you are interested in both auditioning and applying for the tech crew, please fill out BOTH the Audition Form and the Tech Crew Application.

This was not an easy decision.  For those of you who didn’t make the COMPANY, I am happy to schedule an appointment to speak with you about your audition and how you can continue to grow in the future.  Please email me to set up a date and time.

COMPANY members – please initial your acceptance next to your name.  Our first rehearsal is Monday, December 4, from 3:45-5:15. I will be emailing your contracts to you – please return them on Monday.

UIL One Act Play Auditions!!

Application for our UIL One Act Play can be found here.  You must be logged into your FISD account to access.

The auditions are November 29-30, 2017, with a possible callback on December 1.  Applications are due no later than November 28, 2017 at 4pm. Permission forms for must be turned into Mrs. Cortez directly.

If you are interested in being an officer for Drama Club, please fill out this form.  I will close the form on November 22.  At that point, I will email everyone a link to a new form which include candidates' campaign speeches so that you may vote.  Voting will close on November 29. 

 We will announce the officers at the next meeting which is November 30.  

Drama club shirts should be available at the meeting. They are $11.50.  If you want one, you may bring EXACT change or a check made out to Fowler Middle School.  You may also make a payment in MyPaymentsPlus.  I ordered 50 shirts of varying sizes to (hopefully) cover everyones needs.

11/17 AUDITIONS!!!
The theatre program is proud to announce auditions for our UIL One Act Play, Antigone Now. Applications are available outside the theatre room, room 315.  Crew applications are due by 4pm on Friday, December 2.  Cast applications are due at the audition on either Monday, December 5, or Tuesday, December 6. Be sure to sign up for an audition day. Break a leg!!


9/13 IMPORTANT
I have had a district meeting placed on my calendar for September 20. That rehearsal will be cancelled. This affects the actors playing Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy, Mr. & Mrs. Beaver, and the Wood Nymphs. If these actors could please be at the Monday, September 19, and Thursday, September 22, rehearsals, we will get the scene worked in between those two rehearsals. Since this is a change to the original calendar, all conflicts will be excused if you were not already called to the rehearsals.
