Blueberry Muffins

1 1/2 cups flour

3/4 cup sugar

1/2 tsp salt

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/3 cup melted butter

1 egg

1/3 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/8 tsp almond extract

1 cup frozen blueberries

for topping:

turbinado sugar

cinnamon


Preheat oven to 400.

Mix dry ingredients with a whisk in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the middle, add butter, egg, milk and both extracts. Stir with a wooden spoon. Don't overmix. Fold blueberries in gently. Mix a small amount of cinnamon with 1-2 TBSP of turbinado sugar.  Line a 12-cup muffin pan with liners or grease thoroughly. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture liberally on the top of each muffin.


Bake 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees.
