Dad @ Priestly Rose Nursing Home Birmingham
This is my Dad, he is 88, and has rapid progressing Dementia, it has got worse the last 12 months or so. After 100 days in Hospital we placed him in a Nursing home in Erdington Birmingham. It's tough on the family, most of all my Mom who is 86, she is in denial that this has happened to her Husband my Dad, after 65 years of Marriage. I have a large burden on my shoulders, because i am the only child. I just acquired the power of attorney because of my fathers mental state, & believe me that was no easy task, the paper work and legal fees was unbelievable, and it cost ?1500.00. Plus ?150 for doctors letters.
